The BTS boys have done it again. At midnight on Friday, November 20, the K-pop supergroup dropped their latest album BE, as well as the music video for their new single “Life Goes On.
2020 has been objectively horrible.
The sense of loss during 2020 is real. Because of COVID-19, we’re restricted in where we can go and what we can do. Normal things — seeing friends, celebrating holidays, going to concerts — have been taken for granted. Luckily, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are here processing right..
New BTS music video “Life Goes On,” a chill, introspective bit of emotional support for a world still very much in the throes of a global pandemic.
“Life Goes On” is described in a press release as “alternative hip-hop,” with prominent guitar sounds. The track was produced by BigHit’s Pdogg and members RM, Suga, and J-Hope, as well as Ruuth, Chris James, and Antonina Armato. The song has intense warm hug energy as the lyrics remind us that we are going to make it out of this challenging period.
“Life Goes On” MV ranks fifth on YouTube’s Top 10 All-time Top 24-hour Music Debuts, pushing down Taylor Swift’s “ME!” music video to sixth place.
Not Only This
Global sensation BTS has become the first K-pop group to ever receive a Grammy Award nomination.
Their latest hit song "Dynamite" was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, alongside stars like Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
